"Moves & Vibes have been performing at a number of Baku Sunset events and have always delivered quality service and have always been favorites of our event s'guests. I always enjoy working with Inna and Glenio as they are always very reliable and a lot of fun!"
Clark Crowley, Program Manager at the Boston Center for Adult Education:
“Students here at the Boston Center for Adult Education have immensely enjoyed the wide variety of classes Inna and Glenio have taught. Their easy to follow instruction and fun demeanor have made their classes some of the most popular here at the Center and we couldn’t be happier to have them teaching here.”
Bethani Rosemark:
Inna
and Glenio are amazing instructors! They taught my husband and I how
to dance Bolero for our wedding. Their knowledge of the dance and
ability to teach us was fantastic. We really enjoyed their teaching
style. They had a way of breaking down the steps and perfecting each
move that allowed us to improve quickly and create a stunning first
dance! Thank you both! Looking forward to taking more dance lessons
with you to expand our repertoire!
Jennifer Recklet Tassi, MIT University
"Inna and her partner Glenio led a salsa class for my birthday! It was great fun and Inna was so pleasant and easy to work with. She is an excellent teacher, making even the most nervous and inexperienced people feel at ease and have fun. I highly recommend their class - you'll learn great moves and have fun in an easy-going environment."
Sabrina Denault, Performance Tour Consultant at ACIS Educational Travel:
“I’ve not only learned the steps to forro, samba, and zouk, but I’ve also learned to love Brazilian music and dance through my classes at Moves and Vibes. Inna and Glenio make the classes fun and the events that they organize give the students a place to practice what we’ve learned in class."
Ben Allen, Professor of Greek Philosophy at Tufts University:
"I had seen samba de gafieira performed, and it struck me as one of the most beautiful dances. When I moved to the Cambridge area and saw that classes were offered, I decided to give it a shot - that was nearly three years ago. I enjoyed it so much that I later started taking lessons in forro (a dance I had never even heard of before), and then Brazilian zouk (another dance I had seen and wondered about). Lessons from Moves & Vibes combine two features that you might not always find: the instructors are good dancers (so you can see WHY you want to learn the dance), AND they are quite friendly and down-to-earth, and provide an encouraging atmosphere, with many personal suggestions. There is also an emphasis on basic technique: when learning to dance, I've found that the biggest hurdle is getting to the point where you can simply dance without overt thinking. If you're trying to remember *new* moves, yes, you may have to think a bit. But dance is not about simply "going through the motions"! You want to feel the dance, and move with your partner to the music. I don't remember every set of moves that I've been taught, but I now feel that I can actually *dance* all three of the dances I've learned with Move & Vibes. I can do things that would have seemed *impossible* in the not so distant past - thanks Moves & Vibes!"
